MY STORY

My own journey started as a scrawny, sporty kid with big dreams but little confidence. At 11, my father introduced me to weights, promising they’d make me “bigger and stronger.” That spark ignited a lifelong pursuit.

From training with my dad’s modest collection to working with a competitive bodybuilder in my teens, I saw my potential take shape. By 18, I was overhead pressing 105 kg, competing in strongman, and playing for the U18 Australian Gridiron Team as an offensive lineman.

But life threw curveballs. Recurring head injuries forced me to retire from football, and I ballooned to 130 kg. Depression and isolation followed, I totally lost my confidence and sense of self. Hitting rock bottom when it all hit me during my formal (prom) night, I knew something was deeply wrong.

That was my turning point. The next day, I committed to change, dropping 45 kg to a lean 85 kg through relentless dedication to training and nutrition. Along the way, I rebuilt my confidence, discovered new passions like callisthenics, wrestling, strength training, and found my calling in fitness. I learned how to manage my own chronic health conditions and found the right balance with fitness in my life.

From being underweight and weak, to an elite athlete and even being obese and chronically ill.

I found balance and health, and along with it my passion to help people do the same.
